The Ghatampur Thermal Power Plant is a landmark energy infrastructure project located in the Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, India. With a massive generation capacity of 1,980 MW, it stands as one of the largest upcoming coal-fired thermal power plants in the country. The plant is based on super-critical technology, ensuring higher efficiency and reduced emissions compared to conventional power plants. This project is a joint venture between Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited (NLC) and Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL). Once fully operational, the plant will play a critical role in addressing the region’s growing power demand and in supporting the state’s industrial and residential energy needs.

As part of our order, we delivered over 100+ tons of Hot Dip Galvanized Handrails, valued at approximately INR 18 million.
Each handrail supplied undergoes a robust galvanizing process, which enhances its resistance to rust and corrosion—making it ideal for demanding environments like thermal power plants. These handrails, made from galvanized iron, provide the strength and durability required for industrial applications.
Our GI handrail systems have been strategically installed across critical operational and access zones within the plant to ensure worker safety, durability, and compliance with industrial standards. Additionally, we also offer alternatives like the stainless-steel handrail, suited for areas requiring sleek finishes with strong corrosion resistance.
