The Mumbai Metro Aqua Line 3, also known as the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Line, is one of the most transformative infrastructure projects currently underway in Mumbai. As a fully underground corridor spanning the city’s central business districts, Line 3 is set to significantly reduce traffic congestion, enhance commuter convenience, and redefine urban mobility. The project is being implemented by the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL).
We at Parco Engineers (Mumbai) Pvt. Ltd. are honoured to contribute to this monumental development. For Line 3 alone, we have supplied over 60+ tons of custom Hot Dip Galvanized Frames, engineered for long-lasting performance in high-stress environments.These frames are protected with a robust galvanized zinc coating to ensure resistance against corrosion and weather elements. The project order for this contribution was valued at approximately INR 5 million.
Our galvanized iron (GI) structures are designed to withstand harsh conditions while ensuring superior corrosion resistance, high load-bearing capacity, and structural durability. These qualities make them ideal for critical applications across metro platforms, walkways, substations, and other high-traffic zones.
But our role doesn’t stop there. In addition to Metro Line 3, Parco Engineers is actively supplying its Hot Dip Galvanized Structures—including GI Earthing Strips, GI Angles, Channels, and Frames—to multiple Mumbai Metro lines currently under construction. These include various elevated and underground corridors that are integral to the broader expansion of Mumbai’s public transportation network.
